Exchange & Refund Policy

We want you to feel confident and comfortable in your beekeeping gear. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help. This policy explains how returns, exchanges, and refunds work for orders shipped within the United States.

Eligibility for Returns

  • Returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days of delivery.
  • Items must be in new, resellable condition:
    • Unworn and unwashed (trying on indoors to check fit is okay).
    • Free of stains, odors, pet hair, or damage.
    • All original tags, labels, veils/mesh inserts, accessories, and packaging included.
  • Please do not return items without first contacting us for return authorization (RMA).

Return & Exchange Window (30 Days)

You have 30 calendar days from the day your order is delivered to request a return or exchange. If the 30-day window has passed, reach out anyway—we’ll do our best to help, but approval isn’t guaranteed.

Item Condition Requirements

  • Protective suits, jackets, veils, and gloves: May be tried on indoors to check size, but must be returned clean and unused.
  • Equipment & tools: Must be unused, unassembled, and returned with all parts and manuals.
  • Items that arrive not in resellable condition may be denied or subject to a partial refund.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Customized or personalized products.
  • Final-sale/clearance items (noted on the product page).
  • Opened consumables (e.g., fuels, treatments) and hygiene-sensitive items once opened.
  • Gift cards and downloadable/digital products.

How to Start a Return or Exchange

  1. Request authorization: Email support@BeeOutfit.com with your order number, the item(s) you’d like to return or exchange, and the reason. Photos are helpful for damaged/defective claims.
  2. Receive instructions: We’ll reply with your RMA and a return label or return address. Please don’t ship items back without these details.
  3. Pack securely: Use original packaging when possible and include all components and tags. Write the RMA on the outside of the box.
  4. Ship & track: Drop off with the carrier noted in your label or choose a trackable method if you’re arranging your own shipping.

Who pays for shipping? For defective, damaged, or incorrect items, we cover the return label. For size exchanges, we’ll cover one prepaid label per order within 30 days. For change-of-mind returns, return shipping may be deducted from your refund if we provide the label; otherwise you may use your own carrier.

Exchanges

  • Fastest option: Place a new order for the correct item/size and start a return for the original; we’ll refund the first item after inspection.
  • Standard exchange: We ship your replacement after we receive and inspect the return.

Refunds & Timelines

  • Inspection time: 2–3 business days after the return arrives at our facility.
  • Refund method: Original payment method (minus any shipping/label costs for change-of-mind returns, if applicable). Original outbound shipping is non-refundable unless we made an error.
  • Bank processing: Most banks post credits within 3–10 business days after we issue the refund. Store credit (if chosen) is issued immediately after approval.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the box and product. We’ll prioritize a replacement or refund and cover all related shipping.

Wrong Address / Refused Delivery

If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address or refusal, we can reship (additional postage may apply) or refund the item total less actual shipping costs once the parcel is received back in good condition.

International Orders

We primarily ship within the United States. If you are returning an international order, please contact us first for instructions. Duties and taxes paid to customs are non-refundable through us; you may be able to claim them back from your local authority.
